Roger Waters toca ao vivo com Billy Corgan e Tom Morello

Roger Waters, ex-Pink Floyd, tocou numa gala de beneficência em Washington DC com Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins) e Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine).

Roger Waters vai embarcar numa digressão mundial no próximo ano, que servirá de suporte a um álbum que ainda está por lançar. Dia 16, o músico britânico teve a oportunidade de mostrar que ainda está em forma, tendo tocado várias músicas dos Pink Floyd no concerto de beneficência Music Heals, em Washington DC.

Waters foi acompanhado por Billy Corgan, dos Smashing Pumpkins, e por Tom Morello, dos Rage Against The Machine. Juntos, tocaram clássicos como «Comfortably Numb», «Brain Damage/Eclipse» e «Wish You Were Here», para além de tocarem covers de Bob Dylan e Leonard Cohen. No entanto, a grande novidade da noite foi «When the Tigers Broke Free», uma música dos Pink Floyd nunca tocada ao vivo até à data.
