Lana Del Rey escreve nova música depois do Coachella

A caminho de casa, depois do fim-de-semana no festival Coachella, Lana del Rey teve de fazer um desvio para ir a um dos seus sítio favoritos, um bosque de sequóias, e escrever uma nova música.

A inspiração da cantora de 31 anos veio das tensões entre os Estados Unidos e a Coreia do Norte e como ela se sente em passar três dias num festival a dançar e a divertir-se enquanto ouve sobre tudo o que se está a passar no mundo.

“Eu queria partilhar isto na esperança que o desejo e a prece de uma pessoa pela paz possa contribuir para essa possibilidade no futuro,” escreveu a artista no Instagram onde partilhou um vídeo a cantar parte da música.

I'm not gonna lie- I had complex feelings about spending the weekend dancing whilst watching tensions w North Korea mount. I find It's a tightrope between being vigilantly observant of everything going on in the world and also having enough space and time to appreciate God's good earth the way it was intended to be appreciated. On my way home I found myself compelled to visit an old favorite place of mine at the rim of the world highway where I took a moment to sit down by the sequoia grove and write a little song. I just wanted to share this in hopes that one individual's hope and prayer for peace might contribute to the possibility of it in the long run.
